Five, matters needing attention
Before filling the cylinder with cryogenic liquid, first determine the filling medium and filling quality of the cylinder. Filling quality can be found in the product specification sheet. To ensure accurate filling, use a scale to measure.
1. Use a special conveying hose to connect the cylinder into and out of the liquid valve (the DPW cylinder is the inlet valve) and connect it to the supply source, and tighten it without leakage.
2. Open the discharge valve and inlet and outlet valve of the cylinder, then open the supply valve and start filling.
3. During the filling process, monitor the pressure inside the bottle through a pressure gauge and adjust the discharge valve to maintain the pressure at 0.07~0.1MPa (10~15 psi).
4. When the required filling quality is reached, close the inlet and outlet valves, drain valve and supply valve.
5. Remove the transfer hose and remove the cylinder from the scale.
Warning: It is strictly forbidden to overfill the cylinder.
Warning: Check the media and filling media in the bottle before filling.
WARNING: Fill in well ventilated areas as gas accumulation is very dangerous.
Note: A fully filled cylinder has a very rapid pressure rise that may cause the safety valve to open.
Note: After you have just started working on liquid oxygen or liquefied natural gas, please be careful not to smoke or get close to a place where there is a fire, because liquid oxygen or liquefied natural gas is likely to be splashed in your clothes.
Note: When the saturated pressure of liquid carbon dioxide drops to 0.48 MPa (70 psi), liquid carbon dioxide forms solid dry ice. Therefore, when using DPL450-175H/195H/210H, DPL450-175V/195V/210V, and DPW650-499H cylinders to fill liquid carbon dioxide, the carbon dioxide gas in the cylinder must be pressurized before it can be filled.
