Argon cylinder
Chinese name: Argon cylinder
English name: Argon gas cylinder
Second, product introduction
(1) Argon gas cylinder is a high-pressure vessel for storing and transporting nitrogen. It is generally made of alloy structural steel, which is hot-punched and pressed, and has a cylindrical shape. Used in hospitals, first aid stations, nursing homes, food factories, chemical plants, etc.
(2) The shoulder of the cylinder is marked with the working pressure, test pressure, volume, weight, and other information. The surface is painted in gray and the word “argon” is written in green.
(3) The standard for gas storage capacity of argon cylinders is pressure resistance.
(4) The upper limit of the pressure of a conventional argon cylinder is 15Mp (MPa). The atmospheric pressure is 147 atmospheres.
(5) The pressure resistance test value is 22.5Mp.
(6) The pressure inside a conventionally filled cylinder should be around 12~15Mp.
(7) The gas in the bottle cannot be completely used up, and the residual pressure of not less than 0.1-0.2MP should be retained.
Third, common uses
(1) Use: A rare gas. Used as a shielding gas for arc welding (cutting) stainless steel, magnesium, aluminum, and other alloys. Also used in the smelting of steel, aluminum, titanium and zirconium. When discharging, argon emits a purple glow, which is used for lighting technology and filling fluorescent lamps, photocells, lighting tubes, and the like.
(2) During the brewing process, the filling in the beer barrel can replace the oxygen to prevent the raw material in the beer barrel from being oxidized to acetic acid.
(3) The heat treatment process is also used to replace nitrogen and ammonia, and the effect is more than nitrogen and ammonia. When the stainless steel is heat treated, the argon gas is used to protect the bending effect better and not easy to break.

Sixth, matters needing attention
(1) Bottled gas products are high-pressure filling gas, which should be used after decompression and pressure reduction. The used cylinders are used for a long period of time. All expired cylinders must be sent to a department for safety inspection before they can continue to be used. When using the exhaust gas in each bottle of gas, the residual pressure in the bottle should be kept at 0.5MPa, and the minimum pressure should not be lower than 0.25MPa. The valve should be closed to ensure the gas quality and safety.
(2) Bottled gas products should be stacked in storage, storage and use. It is strictly forbidden to stack flammable gas and combustion-supporting gas. It is not allowed to be close to open flames and heat sources. It should be close to fire, no oil, no exposure, Do not throw heavy, do not hit, do not conduct arcing or arcing on the cylinder, prohibiting rough handling.
(3) Fire fighting method: This product is not flammable. Cut off the air supply. Spray water to cool the container, if possible, move the container from the fire to the open space
(4) Lightly load and unload during storage and transportation to prevent damage and prevent high temperature. Argon is not corrosive, and general-purpose metal materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, copper alloy, and general plastic materials and elastic materials can be used at normal temperature. Polytetrafluoroethylene and polytrifluoroethylene chloride polymers are commonly used as gaskets, separators, and the like at low temperatures.
