As the main raw material gas for excimer laser generators, fluorocarbon mixture gas is widely used in excimer laser systems for clinical medicine and scientific research and industrial applications, such as drilling, marking surface treatment, laser chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor deposition. Excimer laser treatment of myopia was first introduced in 1985 by American doctors. It has developed rapidly in recent years and was introduced to China in the early 1990s. Excimer laser treatment of high, medium and low myopia is far superior to previous refractive surgery, so it is widely recognized by ophthalmologists around the world. However, there are still many people who have doubts about it, fearing that their eyes will be pierced and burnt.
Molecular laser surgery is divided into PRK and LASIK surgery. PRK surgery is to correct myopia by directly cutting the surface of the cornea by excimer laser. The deeper the cut, the more complications such as retreat and atomization after surgery, so it is not suitable to correct high myopia, and the scrape of epithelium. The patient had significant pain for several days after surgery.
The full name of LASIK is excimer laser corneal in situ keratomileusis, which is the combination of microscopic lamellar forming system and excimer laser in recent years, which opens up a new field for the correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. The method is to open a corneal flap with a microslab layer forming system and perform excimer laser cutting on the corneal stroma layer under the flap.
This method preserves the corneal epithelial layer and the front elastic layer, thus conforming to the anatomy and physiology of the cornea, and has become an advanced technique for treating refractive errors in the world today.
Seven, matters needing attention
This product is a non-toxic, colorless, odorless, non-flammable compressed gas stored in a cylinder at a certain pressure. When the methane/argon mixture in the air is too high and the oxygen content in the air is less than 19.5%, it will cause rapid suffocation. Rescuers need to be equipped with self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
Inhalation: This product is non-toxic, but can be replaced by oxygen in the air to cause suffocation. Exposure to air with insufficient oxygen (less than 19.5%) may cause dizziness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, excessive saliva, unresponsiveness, loss of consciousness and even death. Exposure to air with an oxygen content of less than 12% will lose consciousness without any warning and lose the ability to self-rescue.
Use: Never pull, roll or slide the cylinder. Use a suitable cart to move the cylinder and don't try to grab the lid of the cylinder to pick it up. Ensure that the cylinder is in a fixed state throughout use. The gas is released from the cylinder safely with a pressure reducing regulator and a separate control valve. Use a check valve to prevent back flow back to the cylinder. Use well-designed piping and equipment to withstand the pressures required. Do not heat any part of the cylinder with an open flame or other nearby heat source. Once the cylinder is connected to the pipeline, the valve should be opened slowly and carefully. If the user has difficulty operating the cylinder valve, stop using it and contact the supplier.
Do not insert tools (eg wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) into the bonnet. Doing so can damage the valve and cause a leak. Use an adjustable strap wrench to open a tight or rusted bonnet.
