Sixth, welding gas application
Laser gas is widely used in laser processing, metal, ceramic cutting, welding and drilling, as a sealed laser for research, for industrial production, scientific research and national defense construction.
Structural steels will give better results when cut with oxygen. When oxygen is used as the processing gas, the cutting edge is slightly oxidized. For plates up to 4 mm thick, high pressure cutting can be performed with nitrogen as the process gas. In this case, the cutting edge will not be oxidized. For plates with a thickness of 10 mm or more, special plates are used for the laser and oil is applied to the surface of the workpiece during processing to obtain better results. Stainless steel cutting stainless steel requires: use oxygen, if the edge oxidation is not tight; use nitrogen to get the edge without oxidation and burr, no need to deal with it. Coating the oil film on the surface of the board will result in better perforation without sacrificing processing quality. Despite the high reflectivity and thermal conductivity of aluminum, aluminum with a thickness of less than 6 mm can be cut, depending on the alloy type and laser capability. When cut with oxygen, the cutting surface is rough and hard. When nitrogen is used, the cutting surface is smooth. Pure aluminum is very difficult to cut because of its high purity, and aluminum can only be cut when a "reflective absorption" device is installed on the system. Otherwise the reflection will destroy the optical components. The titanium plate was cut with argon and nitrogen as processing gases. Other parameters can be referred to nickel-chromium steel. Both copper and brass materials have high reflectivity and very good thermal conductivity. Brass with a thickness of 1 mm or less can be cut with nitrogen; copper with a thickness of 2 mm or less can be cut, and oxygen must be used for the processing gas. Copper and brass can only be cut when a "reflective absorption" device is installed on the system. Otherwise the reflection will destroy the optical components.
Seven, matters needing attention
Ordering Information: Please provide the laser gas component gas type and concentration percentage, balance gas type, cylinder size, bottle valve type, pressure reducer outlet pressure, pressure reducer outlet type.
Packing instructions: Laser gas is generally packaged in a 40-liter carbon cylinder, 23cm in diameter and 140cm in height.
Filling pressure: The pressure of the laser gas is generally 10 MPa, and the high pressure gas is used after being decompressed.
Cylinder valve: generally use copper valve QF-2 (G5/8 outlet); can be prepared according to customer needs.
Laser gas pressure reducer: copper pressure reducer, the outlet can be 1/4", 3/8" ferrule, M16-15, etc., outlet pressure gauge 0~1MPa, 0~1.6MPa, 0~2.5MPa , can be customized according to customer requirements.
